About Me
I'm an Attorney, Mediator, and Special Master, and I want to settle cases, plain and simple. I am an enthusiastic mediator who is available when you need me. As a mediator and Settlement Officer of Fresno County Superior Court, I have mediated tough, emotional, and complicated cases, and I help the parties navigate their issues. It does not matter if the other side is outrageous, your client is emotional, or the brief is 29 pages. I will give you what you need to settle.
My Story
I've litigated cases since 1999, I am a partner at the law firm of Peel | Garcia, and I have been mediating cases since 2014. My legal practice focused on Construction Defect, Lemon Law, and Personal Injuries. I litigated countless lawsuits over the last 20+ years, ranging from every type of construction contractor, to dealerships, to landlords. You name it, I probably litigated it. I mediate mostly Construction, Lemon Law, Real Estate, and Personal Injury actions, but if have a case, I'm here to help you settle.

PRE-MEDIATION CALLS
These 8 principles are the laws I mediate by, and you can trust in them. Some mediators may adhere to some but we stand by all eight. To set a mediation, call my office and we will have your case settled before you know it.
Before the mediation, I can set up a conference call, depending on the case to discuss how to structure your mediation, coordinate who will be there, hammer out logistical issues before there is a problem, decide on a joint session, etc. Trust me, it will save everyone time and headaches on the day of the mediation

NO CANCELLATION FEES
I just don't believe in them. Things come up. I get it.
I'm not a retired judge or a burned out attorney looking to coast into retirement. I mediate cases. That's what I do. If you want someone to push the other side, mediate with enthusiasm, and keep the momentum going, then I'm your "Go-To" mediator. If your clients need a "robe" to tell them what to do or you want someone who has 20 trials last year, I can help you find someone who fits that description. I'm here to help.

Need a mediation ASAP? I can make it happen. I've mediated on Saturdays for my cases.
CREATIVE SOLUTIONS
You won't hear war stories for two hours and then receive a "Mediator's Proposal." I find solutions. I excel at working creative deals, ranging from crafting payment structures, return of property, re-doing leases, structured settlements, or letters of recommendations in wrongful termination cases. Sometimes, it's the little things that will settle your case.

Travel
Willing to Travel to you to settle your case
NOT TOO PRICEY
I charge a reasonable rate because your client shouldn't pay outrageous mediator fees to settle their cases.

POST-MEDIATION FOLLOW-UP
I stay engaged and will not rest until your case is settled. I will call counsel to see if anything changed--perhaps Defendant received more authority, Plaintiff received the medical liens, or the parties needed a deposition to occur. Whatever it is, I will stay involved until your case settles or you pick a jury.
